theophilusfwblog2-1.jpegThroughout New York Fashion Week, dapper style icon/on-the-up-and-up rapper Theophilus London (whom we featured in our summer music issue) will be guest-blogging from the fashion world's front lines and front rows. Here, in his second installment, London likens Fashion's Night to a wedding.

The day started off with tons of champagne at the Imitation of Christ presentation. I went with friend and collaborator Mia Moretti. The show took place at the W Hotel in Union Square, and the dress code was "wedding." So I put on my best suit and headed to the occasion. My phone died, so this is the last pic from that event. I heard through the grapevine the wedding was real.

theophilusfwblog2-3.jpegI headed straight to sound check for my Tommy Hilfiger FNO show, which then led to my 6 p.m. DJ set at the GQ x Dockers event at Bloomingdales, where Alexander Wang, Donald Glover, Jim Nelson, to name a few, were in attendance.

theophilusfwblog2-5.jpegAfter that I headed back to Tommy to do a meet and greet and perform.

theophilusfwblog2-6.jpegWe ended the festivities at the Ace Hotel/Opening Ceremony party. On the dance floor some members of the entourage sported my new blue suede bucks I designed with Cole Haan.

Note to self: Fashion's Night Out is the equivalent to your wedding night. Women wear their absolute best... And look their best. Is it the same thing? Hmmm...

TL out!
