Word of Mouth
theodora-richards-fno.jpgThe last time we heard from Theodora Richards, the daughter of Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards and supermodel Patti Hansen, it was for all the wrong reasons. Now she's back on the scene and fully reformed: She's helping her favorite LES store, revamped vintage go-to, The Reformation, celebrate their spiffy new location (156 Ludlow Street) for Fashion's Night Out (6-9 p.m.). We spoke with tomorrow's host about her love of headdresses, must-see fashion shows, and what's next on her to-do list...

Marcus Holmlund: What are you up to nowadays? Any upcoming projects you're excited about?

Theodora Richards: There are a lot of design ideas I have in the works. Maybe my own brand of travel bags... we shall see.

MH: Besides Fashion's Night Out, are there any other fashion festivities we'll catch you at?

TR: I'll probably go see my favorite shows -- Betsey Johnson for her colors and cartwheels and Zac Posen for his music and the fact that he knows women's lines and curves like nobody else.

MH: I know Chase Cohl, who makes the most beautiful headpieces for her line "littledoe." will be with you to christen the new store location. She's a friend of yours and I've seen you in several of her wares. What do you like most about her work?

TR: Honestly, everything Chase touches I pretty much die for. She's got such an incredible imagination, and yet like a lot of us overly imaginative creatures, she can actually execute her ideas, making them into realities. Each piece she handles is made with such thought and care that it's impossible not to pass it down to the next generation.
