This is one Australian band doing a cover version of another. "Under the Milky Way" was first a hit for The Church in 1988 and here it's performed by Miami Horror -- who are from Melbourne and only chose their band's name because they liked the way the words contrasted. MH are probably more known as an electo/dance act started by remixer/producer Ben Plant, but this tune is more in the indie-pop category, which suits them well. They have recently "re-located" to the U.S.A. and just played at Brooklyn Bowl over the weekend and will be at The El Rey Theatre out in L.A. on September 22.
