Here at PAPERMAG we are always eager to see who will be pegged as the season's Fashion Week darling. Last season, amazingly enough, it was Aziz Ansari, who gave Alexa Chung and her crew a run for their money. This Fashion's Week most ubiquitous hot young thing, British pop-star Neon Hitch, was serving us full-on Cher with her head-dress/beads/leopard print get-up at our Nine West party the other night. We chatted with the show-stopping pop tart about causing riots in the city streets, her love of the Beatles and starting her own line.  

So what brings you to Fashion Week?
The LOVECAT party and I performed at the French Connection party last week. Me and my Neon tribe, we went outside on the street and started drumming. 100-200 people came and we started a crazy riot on the street. They shut it down! It was a lot of fun.

Is tour life much different than NYFW?
It's very different. Being on the road is just me like being a gypsy, living on a bus. Here it's crazy. There's so many people you've gotta meet, it's very quick paced and you can't get a fucking taxi. I don't like that.  

So walk me through your look.
I have a friend who makes my headdresses. This is like kind of some warrior tribal gear. I made this leopard-skin bodysuit with tassels on the butt so I can shake my butt. [She turns around and booty shakes for us.]

Do make your own clothes?
Yeah, I made this. I make all of my own clothes. Soon I'll branch off and build a label.

What would you call your label?
Maybe Neon...  I feel like that's a cool name. I'll be making very crazy clothes, so Neon would be a fitting name.

Musician, dead or alive -- whose style inspires you?
I'm a huge Beatles fan. I like the colors; I like the psychedelic style. I like that kind of acid style, you know? I've got hippie parents.

Have you always been fearless in terms of fashion?
I've always dressed like a complete fool and only now it's acceptable. I've just never changed and now it's okay to dress like I do, so it's good!

What's the last thing you purchased off of iTunes?
The Weeknd, House of Blues. Oh my God I love his voice. It's like sex.

Favorite music video as of late?
I like Gaga "Born this Way." That shit's crazy. It's kind of amazing.

Are you a Little Monster?
I love Gaga. I respect her fully; she's a truly talented artist and I only have the most respect for her.
