It's Carine's World. We All Just Do Karaoke In It.

Paying tribute to former French Vogue editor-in-chief and style icon Carine Roitfeld, Barney's New York threw her a karaoke party at Westway to celebrate her collaboration with the department store, called "Carine's World." "Is there anyone more fabulous?" Simon Doonan gushed over the former Tom Ford muse with champagne in hand. Guests including Alexander Wang, Stephen Gan, Cecelia Dean, Bruce Weber, Lara Stone, Anna Dello Russo, and Julia and Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, toasted the lady of the evening before moving into the other room for karaoke. Who stole the show? Valentino. As in legendary fashion designer Valentino Grivani who performed a rendition of "My Way" to a cheering crowd.

We caught up with New York designer, Adam Lippes, who holds on to Roitfeld-edited issues of French Vogue like they're heirlooms: "To this day, her French Vogue's are the only magazines I have kept," he told us. Supermodel Karolina Kurkova dished on her experiences with the editor, "She was one of the first people I ever worked with. When I was 16, we did a shoot together with [Mario] Testino. I was in a bathtub with a veil over my face in some hotel room! And we've worked together ever since. Always one to mix things up a bit, Carine herself mentioned how "her" it was to have the party at a former strip club. "It is Carine's world, after all." And, yes, that's her doing a tequila shot in one of the photos.
