To promote the release of their new album, In the Grace of Your Love, the Rapture played two exclusive shows last weekend -- one (well-kept) secret set at Union Pool on Thursday, and another at Le Bain on Friday  -- both leading up to their sold-out show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday.  We went to Friday night's bash, thrown by Justine D, DFA and Throne of Blood, featuring DJs Nancy Whang (of LCD Soundsystem) and Tim Sweeney. The stage was erected directly on top of the venue's namesake hottub, and was regrettably, not made of see-through plexi. It was still pretty fun, though.
