I am Genard Blair, flexing is my style. Flex is is a form of street dance from Brooklyn, New York that is characterized by rhythmic movement touching on eight main formats -- bonebreaking, waving, illusions/punchlines, hat dancing, connecting, pausing, gliding and bruk up. I have danced with several companies here in the United States and in Jamaica. Flex is my artistic outlet to reach higher platforms of interaction and expression.

WHAT HE DOES: I study education at Medgar Evers College. I play the piano, sing, rap, dance, paint and draw. I designed the tattoos on my body. My dancing style is that of a Krumper with techniques from various other styles from African dance to bonebreaking to break dancing thrown in.
HOMETOWN: I was born in NYC and raised in Florida and Brooklyn.

AGE: 22
WHAT HE DOES: Well as far as my occupation goes, I'm in retail. I work in Macy's at Sunglass Hut. I'm also a college student at Long Island University at the downtown Brooklyn campus and I'm soon to transfer to City College of New York for digital animation and film editing. I've been dancing since I was 13, first hip-hop then a style called flexing. My styles are gliding and bonebreaking.
HOMETOWN: Brooklyn, NY. My family background is Jamaican.
FAVORITE NYC HANGOUTS: I like to go to clubs, lounges and bars in that order. I like to go to Club Slate or the Tammany Hall. The Volstead Lounge is a cool place to relax and a bar called Tonic is where me and the fellas go to hang out, have a drink and a dance
