Get Into The Grove

I just got my customized bamboo case (with a Black Flag logo, natch) by Grove, who handmake/carve cases for iPhones and iPads in Portland, Oregon. Started in 2009 by Joe Mansfield and Ken Tomita, the grassroots company works with bamboo because it's an eco-friendly, renewable material that reduces our reliance on timber forests. The company's motto? "We are a group of artisans challenging the status quo of how products are designed and made." They also add: "We do whatever it takes to make the most badass products." A couture Black Flag, eco-friendly iPhone case? Sounds pretty badass to me.
