john-mulaney.jpgCONSUME: Exciting food/drink festival news: The second annual TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint festival, benefiting the Northside Town Hall Community and Cultural Center, is taking place on Sunday, Sept. 18th. Tickets start at $35 and are available here. And the Village Voice has announced its first ever "Brooklyn Pour" Craft Beer Festival featuring oodles of local craft beers, as well as food and entertainment. It will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15th at Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene. Tickets are $40 and on sale Aug. 24th, with proceeds going to the Brooklyn Food Coalition.

SHOP: Zac Posen's new Z Spoke store will open at 875 Washington Street on the corner of 14th Street on Aug. 25th. WWD has the deets: The store will be painted red, it will have a "film noir" quality, and feature a selection of vintage books curated by Michael Gallagher, of now-shuttered Gallagher's bookstore on E. 12th St.

ROCK OUT: The folks behind the wonderful Daytrotter Sessions website are embarking on a Barnstormer tour, this time bringing their epic concerts outside of the midwest and to our fair coast. Bands like White Rabbits, Deer Tick, Princeton, etc. will be storming barns in New Hampshire, Vermont and Pennsylvania.
