Sufjan Stevens directed this frenzied stop-motion video for "Get Real Get Right," off his 2010 album The Age of Adz. The cut out images featured here are by artist Royal Robertson, who inspired Adz, and whose colorful, sci-fi-esque scenes were also incorporated into Stevens' live shows on his recent tour for the album. Robertson, who was a paranoid schizophrenic, is also the subject of MAKE, a documentary about disabled, self-taught artists that Stevens' label, Asthmatic Kitty, recently released. Stereogum has a trailer for the documentary here, as well as a clip for Stevens' upcoming Prospect Park concerts on August 2nd and 3rd in which he and his "Astral Masters of Song and Dance" will perform Adz in its entirety.
