DJ Arson Turns The Big Zero-Eight at Submercer

Don't you wish every bar had pizza and cake? That was the case last night (plus some tasty goodies courtesy of Revolution Foods), when 8-year-old, pint-sized vinyl wunderkind and self-described "b boy" DJ Arson threw a birthday bash at Soho's swanky SubMercer. Arson, who is the godson of Victora's Secret supermodel Doutzen Kroes and the legendary Lauren Hutton (though neither were able to make the party...), conquered the 1s and 2s, spinning some Michael Jackson gems that kept the party jumping. Also on the decks was Arson's mentor DJ Cassidy, whose old school hip-hop set was in top form.
 
Former PAPERMAG cover star Paz De La Huerta, who,admittedly, isn't the first name that would come to mind when planning the guest list for an 8-year-old's birthday party,  showed up fashionably late to wish the b-day b-boy her best, and Arson's guests were taught an energetic routine by professional dancers. Not a bad way to turn 8!
