Wednesday night was a nice one to spent on a roof -- so we doubled up, and spent ours on two. The first stop last night was the opening of the Dream Hotel's new downtown location adjacent to the Maritime Hotel on the edge of the Meatpacking District. Folks like Kirstie Alley, Sam Ronson, Hannah Bronfman and Daisy Johnson milled around while mermaids splashed around in the pool and stilt walkers, human candles and flame throwers surrounded them--as part of a Carnivale-type theme. We then headed crosstown to the rooftop garden at the Gramercy Park Hotel, which was bumping as per usual.
