In Mexico City, there are parties and there are parties. And if you're fortunate enough to get invited to a Dunhill soiree, then you' re in for the latter. Dunhill Mexico and AnotherCompany recently hosted a Mexico City dinner with chef Brad Thompson, of new buzzed-about NYC Caribbean restaurant Miss Lily, and Megapuss, an acoustic duo comprised of singer Devendra Banhart and Greg Rogove (of Priestbird). 150 of D.F.'s celebrity and jet-setting elite, including Diana Garcia, musician Gay Pritt (Pink Floyd), singer/actor Benny Ibarra, Celina del Villar, singer Natalia Lafourcade, Alejandro Castro, designer Galia Katz (Plomo) and Jorge Diaz, turned out for an evening of food and music in San Ángel. The space was transformed into a burgundy hued, foliage-filled dreamland where guests dined on a Caribbean-themed menu prepared by chef Thompson, while Adanowsky, son of famed director Alejandro Jodorowsky, DJed.

Afterward, Megapuss took the stage. At one point actress DianaGarcia joined Banhart and Rogove, displaying a bit of musical prowess to the crowd's delight. The party continued as the doors were later opened to a crowd of over 300, who came to dance and drink the night away with a little help from veteran New York mixologist, Giuseppe Gonzalez. What's Spanish for "hangover?"
