1. The Ende Tymes Festival of Noise and Experimental Liberation starts tonight, June 24th, and runs through the weekend. The three-night fest includes over 40 music acts, video art, workshops, film screenings etc. and takes place at Silent Barn (915 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn) and at Outpost (1665 Norman Street, Ridgewood, Queens). Here are all the details and times.

2. The free LUMEN video and performance art festival (aka trippy happening) takes place tomorrow, June 25th, from 6 p.m. to midnight on Staten Island just south of the ferry terminal.  Over 21 artists are participating. There's map and more info here.

3. The world premiere of Charlie Ahearn's new film Jamel Shabazz Street Photographer is Sunday, June 26th, 3:30 p.m. at BAM Rose Cinemas (30 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn).  Ahearn, the acclaimed director of Wild Style, looks at the life and work of the Brooklyn photographer, Shabazz, and his classic shots that define the hip-hop lifestyle.

4. There's a screening of Bill Cunningham New York tonight, June 24th, 8:30 p.m., $10, at Anthology Film Archives (32 2nd Avenue @ 2nd Street).  The documentary on the New York Times photographer (and bike rider) is part of the Bicycle Film Festival. Tonight's film fest after-party is at The Acheron/Anchored Inn (57 Waterbury Street @ Scholes, Brooklyn) with DJs James Mulry and Porkchop.

5. A swanky new 3-level nightclub called Mystique (141 Chrystie Street) opens on the July 4th weekend. Here's the scoop. The Lower East Meatpacking District is really coming along!  Also, yet another re-incarnation of the Copacabana is opening any day now at 268 West 47th Street on the site of the old China Club.
