After months and months of scenesters tweeting about their suede Dr. Martens being ruined as a result of party-hopping during the ubiquitous Manhattan monsoons (#whitegirlproblems), we were finally graced with some nice, festive weather last night. And the cool kids had lots of parties to choose from (like the Converse, Whitney and Rankin shindigs). Leave it to the downtown queen of all jewelry designers, Pamela Love, to keep up with the competition, hosting a fun fete for her new website launch at the cozily cool Mister H at the Mondrian SoHo. Shout out to DJ Becka Diamond for playing/making me belt along to Kim Gordon's "Addicted to Love"; Kanon Vodka's open bar for making me comfortable enough to do so (and for shocking me with the organic, magical non-hang over!); Dossier for hosting the event; and all the pretty young things rocking Love's bird skulls, eagle claws and massive metal hearts being stabbed by swords. Love was totally in the air.
