Could last night have been any more perfect for a garden party? The weather gods, who have been so fickle lately, blessed PAPER, Catherine Malandrino and Lacoste's fabulous party last night celebrating the designer's playful new women's collection for the the iconic preppy-chic label in the garden room of the Mondrian SoHo. Though the evening's theme was "Pucker Up" -- a play on on the two kissing Lacoste crocodiles featured on Malandrino's pieces -- we didn't catch any attendees smooching. We did, however, notice Fab 5 Freddy, Philip Bloch, Chiara Clemente, Dalia Oberlander, Mia Moretti, Fern Mallis, Donna D'Cruz and Tracy Feith hobnobbing among a crowd who were treated to Rose, scallops, tuna and other delicious seafood snacks from chef Sam Talbot and his restaurant, Imperial No. 9, housed in the hotel.
