On Thursday, March 3, the AnthologyFilm Archives will present "M. Henry Jones and the Downtown Scene," the mostcomprehensive selection of Jones' work to date from movies made in high schoolto commercial work to his "stroboscopic neurological condition-inducingspinning animation art." Noted film critic Amy Taubin will speak about Jones'work and DJ Spooky, a musical collaborator with Jones on a series of multi-screen presentations of Harry Smith's films, will also contribute to theconversation.
