Word of Mouth

PAPERMAG spotted none other than sassy-fashy blogger and front-row staple known as Bryanboy as he was waiting for a car outside the Loden Dager runway show today. We were excited to catch up with the Fashion Week sweetheart about all of his fun this week and, as always, he told us all about it.

Describe today's head-turning look.
I'm wearing a Michael Angel coat with a Uniqlo cardigan, Diesel pants and Lanvin shoes. And I bought these neon green scrunchies from a sex shop in Brazil for like two dollars.

What shows have you loved so far?
I really loved Jason Wu -- I thought it was quite slick, a slick operation. I also loved Rag & Bone. A lot of outerwear there, just beautiful. So far, I'm really, really impressed with those. And also Peter Som, surprisingly. I like to channel my inner wasp sometimes through fantasy and Peter Som's really great for that.

What parties have you been hitting up?
I went to Indochine two days ago and I only lasted there like a half an hour because it was so crowded. I'm trying to adopt this no partying policy -- party until like 12. As long as I'm home by 12, I'm good. Because I've been doing 10 o'clock shows.

And what's exciting on your agenda next?
Well, Alexander Wang today. And I can't wait for the store opening. Marc Jacob's of course.

Any Fashion Week pet peeves?
Not really. Pet peeves for me are probably fellow bloggers. It's flattering for them to take our pictures of course. But when they just stop you when you're late to a show and when you get out, you need some time to process and then they hand you their business cards. It's quite intense. But other than that, Fashion Week is what it is. It's a circus.

Are you a fan of any other fashion blogs?
I love Fashion Toast and I also love Jak & Jil -- Tommy Ton, his pictures are amazing. ("Hi Tommy!" as he walks past.) And Susie Bubble, who's like the Fashion Encyclopedia.
