Carolina Herrera's Fall 2011 collection of lush, glittering silk dresses and tall, slender beaded gowns were made for the red carpet, and we'll surely be seeing some of the looks that went down the runway at her Valentine's Day show yesterday popping up at the Oscars and Emmys this year. And though Herrea's collection seemed like one of her most dramatic to date, it seemed like her most straightforward and minimalistic pieces -- cowl neck shift dresses in blue and red (hello, Michelle Obama) and sleekly tailored pleated coats that has seemed to resonate most among critics.
