Bar III and the New Blog Aesthetics
By Martin Marks
There once was a time when the term "blogger chic" evoked images of oversized sweatshirts and unwashed hair. Not anymore. Last night, a who's who of the Internet elite gathered to celebrate the launch of the pop-up store for Bar III, a Macy's exclusive men's and women's collection based on the blog style philosophies of Fashion Toast, Sea of Shoes, Feels Like White Lightning, and Street Etiquette.
Among those celebrating the launch were Filipino fashion blogger Bryanboy, Teen Vogue's Andrew Bevan, Andrew Mukamal, Refinery29's Kristian Laliberte, Becka Diamond, Sea of Shoe's Jane Aldridge, White Lightning's Elizabeth Spiridakis, From the Front Row's Leah Bourne, Rumi Neely, Street Etiquette's Joshua Kissi, DJ Solange Knowles, singer Vita Chambers, Kelly Rowland, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, and Emma Snowden-Jones.
(And, @-mentions being the new boldface names, the above list would read: @bar3tweets, @BryanBoy, @BeckaDiamond, @KristianLaliberte, @ajmukamal, @white_lightning, @sea_of_shoes, @rumineely, @StreetEtiquette, @fromthefrontrow, @solangeknowles, )
The Bar III pop-up store, located at 156 Fifth Ave. at 20th Street, will be open from February 10th until March 6th.

THAT'S kind passe being called "Internet Elite" trying bring class to it like the new D listers "THE E LISTERS" when im sorta a normal person with D-List fame and perps (but im looking for a job) . Do Solange need the DJ attached to her name ? This was some function to let these people feel like celebs.
Internet Elite is not what you trying to get attached to your name.
