In my opinion, Alexander Wang killed it this season. His fierce show rocked me in so many ways. First off, the bomber poncho (photo above): OMG, I want one (or two) of these. In every fabrication. Second, there were Wang's genius bulky, wooly knit sweaters which faded subtly into woven silk, miraculously becoming satin dresses at the bottom. These pieces were extraordinary and gorgeous in both design technique and execution. Wow. Third: those fabulous lurex pants that were HOT. Fourth: the whole vibe of Wang that was modern, urban, chic, and proof that he is a force. Im a convert.
