on the front lines of cultural chaos since 1984.
LA's most buzzed-about 70's glam rockers, Hammered Satin, recently hit NYC's Bowery Electric fortheir first east coast tour. Celebrating the release of the band'sdebut EP, lead singer Noah Wallace channeled the ghost of Bowie's MickRonson, with his platinum shaggy hair and flamboyant sequined jackets. This outrageous Hollywood showman kept onlookers at attention with hisunique voice and theatrical onstage antics. NYC's own local glitter bands Sorceress and PrettyQuick opened, and, afterwards, all the young dudes trekked uptown to the afterparty at Kelle Calco's LADYLAND at the Hudson Hotel to drink tequilaand listen to Noah spin a "45's only" DJ set. Long live glam!
