Brooklyn-based rap trio Das Racist is heading down to D.C. next week to speak about copyright issues on a panel called "Fair Use in Hip-Hop Culture" at the Second Annual World's Fair Use Day. The free (with RSVP) event takes place on Thursday, January 13, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Washington Post Conference Center (1150 15th Street NW). Other speakers include Dan Lynch of Negativland, DJ/rupture, Ben Sisto, Cheezburger Network founder Ben Huh and Aram Sinnreich, author of Mashed Up.  Das Racist is also appearing on January 14 at the Rock & Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE, Washington).
