We are taking off for the holidays and will be back on January 3rd, so we've chosen an oldie-but-goodie for our last video of 2010. This is a new version (HQ 16:9) of a video for Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" that was originally made in 2007 by Jonathan Beamish and put together with footage the band shot themselves, plus additional shots from live shows in Brussels and Manchester. The music was recorded for a BBC Radio 1 "Peel Session" that aired on February 14, 1979. The band's singer, Ian Curtis, died six months later and the remaining members changed their name to New Order. The song is a classic that has been covered numerous times and has received every possible acclamation including being named "the best single of all time" by NME. See you next year with lots more videos. Peace.
