It's the last day of Psychedelic Week here at Music Video of the Day and, as you know, Friday is also oldie-but-goodie day. We were torn between Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" and Donovan's "Mellow Yellow" for video of the day, but finally chose this cover version of "Mellow Yellow"  by Bananas In Pyjamas for several reasons.  First, it might inspire you to dress like a banana on Halloween and second, the original version of the song came out 44 years ago in October of 1966. (Also there weren't really any "music videos" in the 60's.)  And finally, Donovan was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.  Have fun this weekend and get some candy for us.
