1. Two art exhibits honoring the legendary New York nightclub/restaurant Max's Kansas City are opening tonight, September 15. Steven Kasner Gallery (521 W. 23rd St., 6-8 p.m.) hosts the book party for Max's Kansas City: Art, Glamour, Rock & Roll (Abrams Images) with over 150 limited edition photos. Loretta Howard Gallery (525 W. 26th St., 6-8 p.m.) will "recreate" the art that hung at Max's with an exhibit called "Hetero-Holics and Some Women Too." Max's was open on Park Avenue South from 1965 until 1974.2. Vanity Fair lists the songs played during New York Fashion Week. 3. Save The Date: Keith Richards is speaking at the New York Public Library (455 Fifth Ave.) on Friday, October 29th at 7 p.m. His autobiography, Life, will be released that week.
4. Whole Foods has adopted the Monterey Bay Aquarium's "Seafood Watch" program and will now label wild-caught seafood with color-coded sustainability ratings.
5. Casting Call: The producers of Bravo's Work of Art: The Next Great Artist will be in New York on September 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Here's the application.
6. Don't forget that Murray Moss and Franklin Getchell are opening their new exhibition called "Make Me" tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at 150 Greene St.
