"On Display," which opens tomorrow night at Bushwick's Storefront Gallery, explores unique takes on abstraction through the work of three different artists, including Sharon Butler's series "Brightly Colored Separates." These oil paintings are, according to the artist, inspired by every day objects and graphic motifs as eclectic as car dealer flags, Lily Pulitzer dresses, vomit and fireworks.
