PAPERMAG: Danielle Staub on Countess LuAnn, Pal 50 Cent and 'Liar' Dina Manzo

At her G-Shock "Shock the World" concert last night, current PAPERcover-girl Ke$ha channeled a Rainbow-Brite-meets-drunk-Ewok (she was rocking the faux fur hat asseen on our cover!) complete with male dancers clad in black speedos and a machine that spewed glitter into the crowd. Amazing, sure, but the real party took place on the red carpet, which featured the creme de la creme of reality television. We're talking America's Next Top Models, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom and two of the lovably nuttiest stars of the Real Housewives franchise, Danielle Staub, of Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Kelly Bensimon, of Real Housewives of New York. First off, our interview with Ms. Staub (stay-tuned for our chit-chat with Bensimon) who tells us about hanging with friends 50 Cent and Run DMC, disses Countess LuAnn (mon dieu!) and tells us how she thinks Dina Mazo got out of appearing in the second season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Do you identify with any other Housewives on the other franchises?

Yeah,I think Jill Zarin from [the Real Housewives of New York] would have to be my favorite. Iidentify with a lot of them because we're all sort of like a sorority-- going through the same things in different cities and differenttowns in different ways. But I think [I identify with Jill the most] becauseshe has put herself in a position to call me when the chips are down andI didn't have to reach out. And she's honest and she tells me when shethinks I'm wrong or right, and she's not a 'yes' person. I love herfor that.

How do you brush all of the haters off?

Um,I really only have four of them and I call them "the others." It'sDanielle and "the others." Oh, wait -- it's down to three others! Onedown, three to go!

Soon it may just be the Danielle show!

Well,I think we're gonna do a spin-off. That's what we talked about on RyanSeacrest today when I plugged my song "RealClose." My music is really taking precedence and I think there's a lotof things going on in my children's life as well that people reallydon't see on the Housewives. So why not do a spin-off and make it aboutDanielle's mafia and my entourage? I mean, I have assistants, I haveassistants to my assistants, I have producers, I have a "girlfriend." I have people who I do music with, I have people who I hang outwith here -- 50 Cent the other night, Run DMC, Ice-T and Coco. I'mreally living my life. And Christine's a model -- she's on her way tosupermodel.

Does Christine have any projects going on right now?
She's worked for British Teen Vogue, she's up for TeenVogue here, she did a 14-page editorial which is coming out inSeptember for BlackBook magazine, and she's walked for Marc Jacobs,Betsey Johnson and Caroline Herrerra -- just to mention a few. Andshe's only 16. And my younger daughter Jillian's song is being released on iTunes verysoon. And I have more music I'm recording.

Are you going to release a full-length album?

I am, and I'm going to collaborate with Jillian on something as well.

Would you ever duet with other Housewives turned pop singers? Like LuAnn de Lesseps or Kim Zolciak?

Who?

Oh, no you didn't diss The Countess! We are dying in anticipation for the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. Are you ready for it?

I am very excited. I'm pumped.

Will your former co-star Dina Manzo show up?

Idon't think she's got enough nerve to come face-to-face with me becauseI might just have to tell the world what she really did to get off theshow.
