When Amsterdam-based company VANMOOF introduces a new minimalist city bike, it's fair to assume it will have a huge one-up on any American-made bikes. Nobody better understands urban bike riding like the Dutch. The two brothers who helm the young company have thought of quite a few practical urban accessories for the new VANMOOF No 5., which is being billed as a wireless smart bike with solar LED lights with USB charging ports and a built-in lock that can withstand 2200 lbs of weigh and works with a key. The frame's made from lightweight aluminum, with thick wheels and a back break for dodgy surface streets. For night rides, the LED lights can be charged through a standard USB cord hooked to a phone, when sunlight is lacking. Alas, perks like these don't come for cheap -- the bike retails for around $800.00.
