Movie Club on Location at the Eventi Hotel!

Longtime MMBlog readers know that Mr. Mickey belongs to a long-running Movie Club with his friends Michael Musto, Lynn Yaeger, Angelo Pitillo and Lee Kimble. Michael selects cuckoo, cockamamie and rarely seen cinematic gems that the club watches every few weeks at his apartment. We also watch a rotating array of 'snippets,' scenes from movies or TV specials that are shocking, apalling and generally super-entertaining. 

Over the weekend Movie Club took it's act on the road and held court at the screening room at the Eventi Hotel on 6th Ave. and 30th St. -- just a stone's throw from Paper's offices. Koreatown is really transforming into a cool little burrough and Mr. Mickey loves a cute hotel.

The hotel is super-hip and its staff waited on us like we were VIPs. Hello cocktails, mocktails and Milk Duds! Yum.
