JWOWW Debuts New Clothing Line, Filthy Couture

While the majority of the fashion elite have spent the last few days jet-setting around Europe for the menswear and couture shows, they'll probably be devastated to learn that they missed the unveiling of Jenni Farley's (aka JWOWW's) clothing line, Filthy Couture, in Las Vegas last weekend.

She held a runway show of 38 looks at The Palms hotel, which included bathing suits, bustiers, and barely-there mini dresses. A number of pieces are now available for pre-order on the brand's website, and the designs are exactly what you'd expect from the guidette. And just to clarify: the name "filthy" is a reference to hard-core house music, not personal hygiene.

To be honest, the prices of most of the garments shocked me more than the extreme plunge of the necklines. Considering the lack of fabric, dresses on the site range from $425 to $700!

Jenni claims that her more expensive pieces are made to order since they are hand-beaded with Swarovski crystals. I don't know about you, but if I were going to drop that kind of cash on a party dress, it had better be by Alexander Wang or Herve Leger.

I know what you're thinking: who outside of Seaside Heights would ever don a Filthy Couture creation? But JWOWW is one step ahead of you: she knows that her line is not for everyone. I don't want to sell to the masses. I want to sell to just people that like my stuff," she told MTV. "I don't want it to appeal to everyone; I want it to appeal to specific people."

The new season of Jersey Shore premieres later this month, and if that isn't enough to look forward to, she tells Stylelist that she hopes to have a runway show during New York Fashion Week this coming February.

Even though I can't think of one place that I would wear one of Jenni's Filthy Couture ensembles, I'm sure they'll be the biggest thing to hit Karma since the fist pump.

I have to agree!!! The price point is CRAZY!!! The pieces appear to be like something you would buy at your local superstore NOT COUTURE AT ALL!!!
