Cristina V's Chic Helps the Himalayans
By Peter Davis

Summer is when I pile on the hippy and punk bracelets and my new favorites are young jewelry designer Cristina Vitiello's handcrafted Knots of Hope bracelets, which benefit the Himalayan Project. In my book, one is not enough of the unisex bracelet which only costs $88 and help Himalayans in remote villages receive education and basic needs like shelter and fleece jackets to stay warm. "What I like most about these bracelets are how the vivid and soft colors of silk contrast with the heavy weight of the silver beads," Vitiello told me. "It is exciting for me to see my customers embrace this collection, both female and male, by either pairing a single bracelet with their Cartier or stacking 10 together for a statement in itself." To see more of Cristina V's chic pieces, hit her trunk show on July 21st at the Reebok Sports Club (160 Columbus Ave.) from 10a.m.-6 p.m. Namaste.
