Mr. Mickey
At the Dior Couture show yesterday John Galliano proved that although the fashion world has been Celine-ified under a wave of simplicity and good taste, there is always room for a tangy splash of fabulous opulence. The inspiration was flowers and the collection was a visual feast but was also focused and precise. The colors! The hair and makeup! The fantasy. Galliano reminded us why Dior is what Dior is. It's good to see that whatever winds of change blow through le Monde de la Mode there is room for every point of view as long as it's fabulous.
