Club Kid Zelda Kaplan turns 94!

The oldest club kid with the youngest spirit, hat loving, round eyeglass wearing Zelda Kaplan celebrated her 94th birthday last night with a party at UES restaurant Orsay's Entre Nous. Nightlife legends like Paul Alexander and Richie Rich were there to help Kaplan, who goes out to the wee hours nightly (she says she has insomnia) celebrate. Raised on a farm in New Jersey, Kaplan has been a golf pro and a ballroom dancer and married twice (to a doctor and a lawyer). Now Kaplan counts Kenny Kenny and Amanda Lepore as close friends and only drinks champagne. She also designs her own clothes from fabric she finds on trips to exotic places. And like a true club kid, she never wakes before 2 p.m. What's not to love?
