1. Break out the searchlights!  The world premiere of KnifeFight: No Rules, a 12-minute documentary featuring several Brooklyn bands including The Death Set, Japanther, Cerebral Ballzy etc., is June 2 at the Knitting Factory (361 Metropolitan Avenue).  More details here.

3. German robbers miscalculated the amount of explosives needed to break into a bank and accidentally leveled the entire building.

5. The current Scion-sponsored art tour focuses on video artists including Dust la Rock, Eric Nakamura, Saelee Oh, French, Mark Mothersbaugh and more. All are on view at Bushwick's Eastern District (43 Bogart St.) from June 4 to 27 and the opening reception is from 7 to 10 p.m. on the 7th.

6. NYC's Public Art Fund is sponsoring an outdoor sculpture exhibit called "Statuesque" in City Hall Park from June 2 to December 3.  The artists are Pawel Althamer, Huma Bhabha, Aaron Curry, Thomas Houseago, Mathew Monahan and Rebecca Warren.
