I've been a bow tie guy for a while and just when I thought I should retire the now over-played look, comes a new take on the preppy staple: musician/designer Mammi-Ama Ofori's knitwear line Garment Colors. Ofori's mother, who was raised in Ghana, West Africa, taught her daughter how to make clothes and soon Mammi-Ama was a master with a knitting needle and a crochet hook. Garment Colors has revitalized my love of the bow ties and chicks are starting to wear them in their hair too - long live unisex accessories! Girls will also love the "Twistchain Chic" crocheted scarf and necklace, available online for only $24.99 at etsy.
