Last night in Hollywood, the Manifest Equalityspace, which is spotlighting the issue of equal rights (especiallysince the passing of Proposition 8 in 2008) debuted with art, music andmovie stars. The exhibit, spearheaded by Yosi Sergant, Apple Via andJennifer Gross, includes artists like Barry McGee, Swoon, Aaron Rose, Gary Basemanand Shepard Fairey (to name just a few) interpreting the themesequality, justice, unity and love. Gay Activist Cleve Jones spoke andFitz & the Tantrums played at the pop-up gallery in a former Big Lotson Vine Street. Stars like Heather Graham, Daryl Hannah, Marisa Tomei, Jason Lee, Cisco and Nic Adler and Peta Wilson all showed up to support the fightfor equal marriage rights for all Americans.
