MoMA's Art Book Swap!
By Michelle Snow
When it comes to art books, one man's coaster is another man's coffee table readymade. On February 6, the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) will host a one-for-one Art Book Swap at the MoMA's Cullman Education and Research Building. Come bring your well-loved (or well-forgotten) specimens to trade in for any of NADA's hundreds of donated art books. All manner of art book qualifies, though I can tell you right now that that album of tasteful boudoir photos of your Significant O. won't score you a Rem Koolhaas opus. Eye of the beholder, guys. When the clock runs out on the event, any leftover books will be donated to the Prison Readers Encouragement Project, which places books in prison libraries in the NYC region.
This event is free and open to the public.
