1. MGMT are auctioning some of the props used in their "Kids" music video, with proceeds going to the Children Art Foundation.  Go here to bid.

2. Barry Manilow plans to debut his latest album The Greatest Love Songs of All Time with a special performance on QVC on Tuesday, January 19 at 9 p.m.

3. The Scissor Sisters (hey, when is that new album coming out?) are one of the "special guests" at Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band concert at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (30 Lafayette Avenue) on February 16, 8 p.m.  Also scheduled: Eric Clapton, Mark Ronson, Thurston Moore, Harper Simon, Sean Lennon and more.  Tickets are available here.

4. The Sheik 'n' Beik crew will be celebrating their second anniversary in February but they're warming-up with a party every Thursday at Veranda (130 Seventh Avenue @ West 10th Street).  Tonight, January 14, you can hear Memek, Nikko Gibler, Varick and Julio starting at 10 p.m. and it's FREE admission.

5. James Murphy tells NME that the new LCD Soundsystem album due out later this year, will probably be the group's last.

6. The Family Resource Center of The Partnership for the Homeless is having a benefit art auction on Friday, January 29, at Gagosian Gallery (522 West 21st Street).  Items being auction include works by Lisa Yuskavage, Kiki Smith, Tom Sachs, Tom Otterness, Nate Lowman and many more.  The complete list is here
