Derek J, the Atlanta based hairstylist, has been strutting his way onto our national consciousness with positively dazzling star turns in Chris Rock's latest documentary, Good Hair, along with regular cameos on (my other obsession) The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Besides serving the kids his severe signature look of "*uck'em Girl!" pumps and "I'm Rich *itch" luxury bags, Derek J also does hair. In fact his ability to apply flawless weaves (a skill I have deep respect and admiration for) earned him the winner's title of last year's Bronner Brothers hair styling championships in Atlanta (yep, it exists).
