Bargain Alert: Waterproof
By Luigi Tadini

This weekend’s weather forecast is grim, calling for two days of below average temperatures and inches of cold rain. Strangely, I have never been adept at sporting two essential winter accessories: gloves and umbrellas. The first stems from my inability to operate any sort of electronic gadget or light a cigarette when my hands are covered with a layer of leather, while the latter is only a matter of convenience (and perhaps aesthetic). Regardless, it has resulted in dangerously close encounters with frostbite and hypothermia — not a good look. When one of my coworkers arrived at the office the other day dry and beaming while I was drenched as a dog I noticed she was modeling a great raincoat. After a little investigation I discovered that not only was the coat incredibly useful considering the weather, it was also a great-looking and a bargain. The King Stampede Wetwoods jacket (available at Boundless NY) is a four-pocket front 100% water resistant outer coat that will protect you from any inclement weather but also add a little flair to your style. Lined with cotton oxford, this rain armor is warm and comfortable on the inside and complete with details that will please the most discriminate buyer. Even better, the coat is priced at a pocket friendly $149!
