Peter Davis' Status Update: King David

My new Internet obsession is David Casavant's blog where he posts photos of the stylish outfits he wears everyday. It's like a non-stop personal look book. So inspiring! I must do the same or at least make sure a Patrick McMullan photographer snaps me at a party every night possible. David, who lives in Atlanta, is cute, chic and smart. Who are your three favorite designers?
This is such a hard question because really, I love all designers! I love Miuccia Prada because she consistently makes new and innovative collections that always look like they're from another world! I love Scott Sternberg who designs Band of Outsiders because the collections are always fun and there's really nothing like them. You can easily spot something that is Band of Outsiders amongst all the other mundane shirts and suits. I also die for Thom Browne! I love how what he makes is considered "shrunken" by most people but to me, it's normal size!!! Random people in "fashion" say that it's irresponsible what he does to men's tailoring but obviously these people have never met someone like me who looks great in his clothes! Alan Flusser said something about how it's ridiculous for Thom Browne to charge that much money for a coat that is deliberately short, but for me, I would never pay that much money for a coat that isn't deliberately short!

What item of clothing are you craving most now?
I want this black Raf Simons jumpsuit thing (if you've seen his show, you know what I'm talking about) -- I've thought of so many different ways to wear it and it's totally random! There's nothing really like it and I could definitely pull if off. I should totally get it.

What is your favorite store?
I was about to say Barneys, but actually, I would have to say this thrift store I always go to. It's where I get to be the most creative and I can buy whatever I find that I like. I can cut things up or buy things too large or too small without feeling guilty because I paid a lot for it.

Agyness Deyn, Andre Benjamin, Chuck Bass and Blaire Waldorf, Kirsten Dunst, Johnny Depp, Irina Lazareanu, Mary Kate and Ashley, Cher (from Clueless), Brigitte Bardot, Kanye West, Kate Moss (of course), Twiggy, and there are many more!

What inspired you to start a blog? Who takes the photos of you for the blog?
Well I made it so that my fashion friends who live far away can see what I wear everyday but as it turns out, they never look at my blog and other random people I've never met follow it instead! Whatever. Fans are better than friends! I actually put my camera on a tripod and I set the self timer to take 10 pictures in a row so it's basically a mini photo shoot."
