The Slow and Steady Wins the Race Pop-Up Party
By Kat Clements

What's more fun than celebrating another installation of intellectual accessories and clever clothing from the visionary little label Slow and Steady Wins the Race? How about 21 Cuban cakes and 21 fashion-themed piñatas?
The party, celebrating SSWTR's 21st series popped up inside the super sweet Spring St. shop Kiosk. And on hand to eat sweets and sip bubbly were other scions of ingenious style.
Elizabeth Yarborough, jewelry designer and crafty southern sweetheart, rocked her own china necklace, which drew high praise from the conceptually-minded crowd. While my fab and elusive friend Steven Le showed off the jazz shoes which he had made into, wait for it.... jazz-shoes with platforms! So smart, chic and supa dupa fly.
Just the sort of thing that would have Slow and Steady super duper proud.
