My Heart Beats for Sweet Bows

After oohing and ahhing about most everything at Erin Fetherston -- hyper-tailored shapes, circus chic stockings, a foreboding/fun soundtrack, and Fetherson's requisite bows (which the designer described to me as "almost consuming the models this time") -- I stepped outside to find even more bow-dom.

I ran ito an editor friend of mine who was playing fairy-god-cousin to a young relative and her friend, letting the irresistible duo tag along to some serious shows like Fetherston's. But these two clearly need no lessons in style. Each was sporting her own handmade hair accessory, which the crafty little ladies make themselves out of brilliantly colored duct tape. Their ingenuity doesn't end with these adorable objects; the girls, Gabby and Emma, sell their designs under the name Gem (get it, "G" from Gabby and "Em" for Emma) and donate their proceeds to the We Campaign, a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection.

What is more magical than a bow-making altruistic and entrepreneurial twosome? How about all of the above in matching Doc Marten's? Consider me totally bewitched. I think Erin would be proud.
