1. If a law proposed this week is passed, people who go hiking in Switzerland in the nude will be fined 200 Swiss francs. (via Der Spiegel)

2. Joaquin Phoenix tells Entertainment Weekly that his rap career is "just a put-on. I'm pretending to have a meltdown." And we thought he was serious.

3. National Geographic magazine is starting a record label. Wired reports that it won't "focus on the sounds of the rain forest, indigenous tribes or things of that nature" but will be releasing Joaquin Phoenix' album. (that last bit is just a "put-on.")

4. Burton is going to outfit the U.S. snowboarding team at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

5. Taylor Swift's album Fearless stays at #1 this week. It's her eighth week at the top of the Billboard charts.

6. There's a new party every Thursday in the Florida Room nightclub in the basement of the Delano Hotel (1682 Collins) in Miami. It's called Undercover and is hosted by Lolo (Sweat Records) and Nic Scapa (Honor Roll Musichttp://honorrollmusic.com/).
