Word of Mouth

Just when we thought Ray Ban Wayfarers couldn't be more played, they have to come along with a new design that's making us fall in love all over again. The new Sunglass Hut/Ray Ban artist series will have Nicaragua-born, NYC-based painter Chris Mendoza spicing up the frames with his signature style of South American flavor crossed with early hip-hop influences and references to subway graffiti. On Friday, November 28, the artist himself will be in-store (at SoHo's Sunglass Hut) to custom-paint only a 100 designs which, by the way, means no one will will rock the exact same pair as yours! As for what to expect, think Pop Art, Keith Haring-esque etchings on black, red, or white frames that will be coveted by all. We wouldn't be surprised if Mary Kate ditches her John Lennon shades and is spotted with these soon, so beat the mini-trendsetter to the punch!

Plus, while looking fabulous donning your new pair of shades, you're also helping to GIVE THE GIFT OF SIGHT. (25% of proceeds go to the GIVE THE GIFT OF SIGHT charity that provides glasses to those in need all over the world.)
