Last night PAPER's Kim Hastreiter and Cole Haan's Jim Seuss threw a classy dinner affair at The Box to celebrate Cole Haan's collaboration with jewelry designer Anna Sheffield. The highlight of the evening was a sublime performance by the one and only Citizens Band. For me, the magic began when an accordion-playing gypsy started really and truly growling "Oh the shark bites" from "Mack the Knife" in a fabulous, haunting voice. Coincidentally I heard CBS radio list Bobby Darin's version of the song as number-three on the all-time greatest hits countdown this Labor Day Weekend...
