A Hair-Raising Retrospective at Margiela!

Margiela's 20th anniversary show reminded fashion types why Paris is the global capital of fashion and will be talked about for years to come. This parade of greatest hits reminded us that design genius never goes out of style. The show, in an out of the way building that once housed a morgue, was immaculately produced with more lighting and music cues than the average Las Vegas spectacle. It ended with a giant four-legged birthday cake taking to the runway followed by a marching band and a Studio-54-style deluge of glitter from the ceiling. The presentation left fashion journalists drooling!!!
