About Last Night... Yoko Devereaux Fashion Show at The Classic Car Club

In honor of the evening's theme (an East Village interpretation of a Hamptons estate), Andrew and I buzzed in from a morning spent out east to sip stiff drinks poured by Trophy Bar's expert staff, ogle at glorious cars (along with Alan Cumming and Ana Matronic), and most importantly, see some men's wares!

The pieces from Yoko Devereaux's Spring '09 collection were indeed EV meets EH but more importantly to me, and my Brooklyn-based boo, they're looks that will fit fabulously in either setting. A set of butter yellow jeans, the railroad stripe jacket, nicely tailored (and well-measured -- for the fellow who fears a Bermuda and the girlfriend who fears a daisy-duke) twill shorts, over-sized cardis and a really sharp looking trench added up to a collection that a mother would love and any wise man would wear.

You can have the cars, classic or not -- I'll take the clothes.
