About Last Night... The Repetto 60th Anniversary Exhibition

The dainty shoes were the stars of the evening last night at the Max Lang Gallery for the Repetto 60th Anniversary Exhibition. Also in attendance was the perfect, immaculately groomed and polite Jessica Stam along with socialite types Leven Rambin, Kristian Laliberte, Genevieve Jones, Kate Schelter, designers Thom Browne, Charlotte Ronson and artists Karen Kilimnik and Tobias Wong. But back to the shoes: Proenza Schouler’s Molten Gold, Brigitte Bardot’s sexy red-checkered flats, Matt Creed’s open-toe cuties, Tobias Wong’s liquid 18Ks, Vanessa Paradis’ pair that read, sweetly, "Happy Birthday / Joyeux Anniversaire Repetto!" and Vanessa Beecroft's bloody beauties.

Hey--Matt Creed's repettos were made in collaboration with the artist Hannah Hooper. How come you're not giving her props??

yeah...Hannah Hooper is the most amazing artist ever and she deserves her props.
